I’ve tried going to Rileys a few times now, and it’s been the same every time: either no tables free or a really long wait. The staff just tell you to try again later, which doesn’t really help when you’ve already made the trip over. It feels like something that could be prevented with better updates or a clearer booking system. Maybe it’s fine if you book well in advance, but for a casual night out, it’s pointless. Ended up leaving again, so I probably won’t bother next time.

Popped in for a few drinks and a game of pool with my mates, but the music was blasting the whole time. We could barely have a conversation without shouting across the table, which got old fast. We did ask if it could be turned down a bit, but nothing really changed. Felt like an avoidable thing that ended up spoiling the night a bit.

Just a heads-up for anyone ordering: the price looked fine at first, but I felt like a few extra costs showed up once I got to checkout. Nothing crazy, but definitely check the final total before you hit pay so there aren’t any surprises.

I went in for a few games, but the equipment was disappointing. Most of the cues had worn tips, and a couple even felt a bit bent. The table cloth looked tired, and the balls were marked up too, so it didn’t really feel worth what we paid. The staff were polite enough, but when we asked about the state of the cues and tables, we seemed to get different answers depending on who we spoke to, which was frustrating. It just feels like the place needs to sort the equipment out properly.

The online account is okay overall, but it could definitely be smoother. Logging in was easy enough and my bookings showed up fine, but trying to change details on my phone felt a bit clunky. A few pages were slow to load, and I ended up clicking around way more than I expected. I also got stuck waiting in a queue at one point, which was annoying when I just wanted to make a quick update. It does work in the end, but it’s not the most seamless experience.

I enjoyed the tournaments overall, but they did run a bit late. I’ll admit I’m the kind of person who gets impatient when things don’t stick to the schedule, so that probably stood out to me more than it would to others.

The drink choices were poor, and because of that the night felt kind of boring. I was expecting a bit more variety, but there just wasn’t much there to pick from.

This felt like a waste of money. I expected it to make things easier, but instead I ended up dealing with extra work just to get any use out of it. Frustrating, and I wouldn’t buy it again.

I stopped in and the dirty toilets kind of put me off staying any longer. Compared to a few other places I’ve been to in the area, the cleanliness just wasn’t on the same level. It’s a shame because I might’ve stuck around otherwise.

I mentioned it to the staff, but nothing really seemed to happen after that. For the price, I’d expect the tables to be in better condition at least. I wouldn’t say it completely ruined the night, but I definitely won’t be rushing back

There wasn’t much energy or buzz going on, just didn’t feel that welcoming. We ended up leaving quick honestly

i mean, I’m only giving 1 star because the location really isn’t convenient. It looked close enough on the map, but actually getting there was way more annoying than I expected, and parking nearby was awkward too. I ended up spending more time just traveling there than I planned. Maybe it’s fine if you live really close, but for me, it’s not somewhere I’d go back to

I tried booking a table on rileys.co and it was frustrating. The pages were loading really slowly, and by the end I couldn’t even tell if my booking had actually gone through or not. I ended up calling instead, which sort of defeats the point of having the online option. Support basically said something like “sorry, it might be a temporary issue, please try again,” but I didn’t really want to keep refreshing and guessing. Not the best first impression...

It ended up taking longer than I thought it would, not a huge deal, though. Overall, it was okay.

We brought the kids hoping it would be a fun family outing, but they got bored quickly. There just wasn’t much to keep them interested. I also got the feeling there might be extra charges tucked in here and there, so I’d double-check the costs before going. Overall, not really a place I’d pick for a family day out.

It wasn’t a total disaster, but it definitely felt like my wallet suffered for no good reason. I wouldn’t be rushing back unless the prices come down a bit.

A friend recommended this to me, so I was actually looking forward to trying it out. Unfortunately, the accessibility was really frustrating, and I ended up giving up quickly. I wanted to like it, but it just wasn’t usable for me.
